Silver Lake co-CEO Egon Durban is joining the Las Vegas expansion bid led by Nancy Walton Laurie and Bill Laurie, according to Tom Friend.

Durban owns 22 percent of the Raiders and holds a right of first refusal if Mark Davis ever decides to sell.

The expected total is about $12 billion to $13 billion: an expansion fee near $10 billion plus $2 billion to $3 billion for an arena.

The group is looking at land near Allegiant Stadium for its arena. Bali Hai Golf Club is one site that fits that description.

Bill Foley with Jerry Colangelo and a group with Marc Lasry are the other finalists. 23 of 30 owners must approve.
