The Lakers signed forward Aniwaniwa Tait-Jones to an Exhibit 10 contract Wednesday night, hours after adding Jahmir Young.

Tait-Jones is a 6-foot-6, 25-year-old wing from Wellington, New Zealand, and a former Big West Player of the Year at UC San Diego.

With Valmiera Glass VIA he averaged about 15.9 points and 6.9 rebounds and was Latvian-Estonian League Finals MVP.

The deal gives the club a late-camp look and a clean path to Coachella Valley if he is waived before opening night.

Watch the waiver wire through the Oct. 19 roster deadline for any matching move.
