Sergio de Larrea had five turnovers in Dallas' 101-97 preseason loss to New Orleans. Dusty May said the team did not give 'Larry' enough help.

De Larrea played 30 minutes with Cooper Flagg, Kyrie Irving, Dereck Lively II, Daniel Gafford and others out, running the offense himself.

He scored 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting with six assists, four rebounds, a steal and two blocks. Dallas was plus-2 in his minutes.

He was plus-34 in Sunday's 132-115 win over Houston. May says the rookie 'has the factor' and is attacking his deficiencies daily.

Friday's home finale vs. Atlanta is a dress rehearsal with more regulars. Dallas opens the season Oct. 21 in Houston.
