Yves Missi blocks four shots in Dallas and grades his near-windmill a seven

Oct 15, 2026

Four blocks in 17 minutes

Yves Missi finished with six points, nine rebounds, one steal and four blocks as New Orleans beat Dallas 101-97 on Oct. 14.

'Everyone was moving in sync'

'We were physical,' Missi said of the first half. 'Everyone was moving in sync, everyone was communicating. So it was good.'

A stop beats a block

'I cannot get a block every time,' Missi said of Jamahl Mosley's message. 'So even if you get a stop, that's the best you can do.'

The windmill that wasn't

After a steal, Missi tried a windmill and jumped too close to the rim. 'Everyone was like, boo. I'm like, it's not that bad of a dunk.'

Seven out of 10

Asked for a grade, Missi landed on a seven. The Pelicans improved to 2-1 and open the season at home against Indiana on Oct. 21.
