Rui Hachimura led the Clippers with 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting, 3-of-5 from three, in a 122-110 preseason win over the Nuggets.

Tyronn Lue has challenged Hachimura to average seven or eight rebounds a game. “I just got to go get it,” he said. “I’m here for it.”

“Sometimes I just get lazy,” Hachimura said of chances to crash the offensive glass. “I got to just keep that in mind and keep trying.”

On Darius Garland: “He’s a great leader. He been communicating a lot… He always make the right passes.”

Hachimura on rookie Keaton Wagler’s deep step-back threes: “It’s been amazing… I want him to keep being aggressive and to be who he is.”

“We had this amazing three games,” Hachimura said. “It was a great team win.” The Clippers open the regular season next week.
