Raptors coach Darko Rajakovic says the NBA's preseason runway is about two weeks too short.

“I think four weeks would be a great length of all the training camp and playing six games, seven games,” he said.

Toronto trained at Laval from Sept. 29 to Oct. 2, then played its first two exhibitions a week apart.

Kawhi Leonard did not play until Tuesday, then scored 21 in 17 first-half minutes of a 148-98 rout of the Knicks.

The Raptors now squeeze their most important evaluation into one short stretch before games count.
