Giannis says he left his comfort zone for Miami's culture

A new challenge

After 13 seasons in Milwaukee, Antetokounmpo said he had been in his comfort zone for many years and wanted something new.

Why Miami

He called the Heat an organization that loves to compete every minute, and said the goal is the championship.

What it cost

Miami sent Tyler Herro, Kasparas Jakucionis, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kel'el Ware and three first-round picks to Milwaukee.

Klay's view

Klay Thompson said he feels lucky to be Giannis' teammate at this stage of his career.

Next: an extension

Antetokounmpo's next deal could reach about $275 million over four seasons if he signs a max extension.
