Irving took a smaller guarantee to leave Nike for Anta in exchange for a share of every sale.

He gets a double-digit percentage of sales, more than twice the 5 percent many signature athletes receive, per The Athletic's Christian Clark.

Anta says sales of Irving's line are up 20 percent year over year.

Irving has two years left on the five-year deal he signed in July 2023.

The sides have discussed an extension but have no agreement yet, as Irving returns after 586 days away.
