Nov 2, 2026

Lakers 131, Raptors 125

Luka Dončić scored 45 on 12-of-23 shooting, 8-of-12 from three and 13-of-13 at the line at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday.

A line never seen before

He added a season-high 15 rebounds, six assists and five steals. No player had 15 rebounds, five assists, five steals and five threes in one game.

Four steals in the first

Dončić had four steals and drew two charges on RJ Barrett in the first quarter. He took a third charge later, on Scottie Barnes.

'Finally'

Told that Walker Kessler and JJ Redick praised his defense, Dončić smiled and said: "Finally." Kessler had 16 points and 15 rebounds.

Four straight big nights

It was his fourth straight game with at least 37: 52, 41, 37 and 45. He leads the NBA at 37.7 points per game through six games.

A shaky finish

Toronto's reserves scored 11 in about 40 seconds to make it 125-120 after Redick pulled his starters. "I won't make that mistake again," Redick said.

What's next

The Lakers, now 5-2, host the Miami Heat on Monday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. PT.
