Dončić led the NBA in scoring in 2025-26, finishing 2.4 points a game clear of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's 31.1.

No Laker had won the scoring title since Kobe Bryant in 2006-07. It is Dončić's second title in three seasons.

Only Wilt Chamberlain, Shaquille O'Neal and Dončić have won scoring titles with two different franchises.

He led the league in field-goal attempts, threes made, threes attempted, free-throw attempts and usage rate.

Nobody has gone back-to-back since Joel Embiid in 2021-22 and 2022-23. Staying on the floor is the other test: he played 64 games last season.
