The Knicks are 0-3 in the preseason and have been outscored by 43 points. Mike Brown is not treating that as a crisis.

“I want to see how we react when we lose three in a row or four in a row,” Brown said. “And [the media] is on us, and the fans are on us.”

At media day Brown said he yearns for adversity early because scrutiny comes with it — and he wants to see if the team keeps an upward trajectory in tough times.

Brown has pointed at a generic offense more than the record. The exhibition losses are film, not a verdict on the defending champions.

Regular-season Opening Night is still days away. Brown is using the 0-3 start as practice for the stretches he says actually matter.
