Julian Strawther left Denver's preseason game at the Clippers in the third quarter with a left knee injury and did not return.

His left knee bent awkwardly and he went to the locker room in considerable pain. He had 11 points with three threes in 19 minutes.

Strawther is listed as day-to-day pending further evaluation. No MRI result or formal diagnosis was released during the game.

Spencer Jones is limited to non-contact work with a hamstring issue, and DeMar DeRozan sat Wednesday for rest.

Imaging or a team update should show whether this is short-term. Denver opens the regular season next week.
