Holland, 21, says he wants to make an NBA All-Defensive team in his third season with Detroit.

He also believes the Pistons had a real chance to win the championship last season.

In an Oct. 5 preseason win over Phoenix he had 14 points, five steals and two blocks in 23 minutes.

He is a 24.6 percent career three-point shooter, and his spacing has kept his minutes up and down.

Detroit has until Oct. 31 to pick up his $11.5 million fourth-year option for 2027-28.
