The San Antonio Spurs have waived guard Taelon Peter and center Malik Williams, the team announced Wednesday, Paul Garcia of The Spot Up Shot and AirAlamo report, citing Spurs PR.
The story
Both players were on Exhibit 10 training-camp contracts. Peter signed with San Antonio on Aug. 7 after a 2025–26 rookie season with Indiana. Williams joined the Spurs on a camp deal in late September.

The moves come a day after San Antonio waived RJ Davis and then signed forward Terry Taylor to a camp deal. Preseason roster spots remain fluid as clubs trim toward the regular-season limit.

Austin path not confirmed
Camp-deal waivers often precede G League seasons with the Austin Spurs, and Exhibit 10 deals can include a bonus of up to $91,000 if a player clears waivers and spends at least 60 days with the affiliate. No assignment or bonus award for Peter or Williams is confirmed yet.
