Chicago beat Milwaukee in preseason with 35 assists and 22 fast-break points to the Bucks’ 21 and 6. The Bucks turned it over 30 times.

“Far from 48 minutes”

“We’re far from putting 48 minutes together,” Jenkins said. “We can’t let the first quarter, first half just dictate kind of our mood.”

Hand in the cookie jar

Jenkins tied the damage to late get-backs and reaching fouls, saying the Bulls found the cracks when Milwaukee did not shift.

Kam Jones leads the way

Kam Jones scored 23 off the bench on 9-of-14 shooting. Brayden Burries had 19 with four steals, and Kasparas Jakučionis added 18.

A city celebration

“Anytime it’s a Bucks game, it’s a celebration of our city,” Jenkins said of next Friday’s home opener.
