Ajay Mitchell scored a career-high 35 as Oklahoma City won in Memphis on Friday in NBA Cup group play.

He shot 14 of 20 and made a career-high four threes in 30 minutes, with 5 assists. He was plus-33.

Oklahoma City has now beaten Memphis 16 straight times. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 28 and Jared McCain scored 21.

The Thunder shot 69% in the first half. Mitchell had 21 by the break. A 12-0 run in the third pushed the lead past 30, peaking at 37.

The Grizzlies entered leading the league in three-point percentage but went 10 of 45. They shot 33% overall.

Oklahoma City scored 62 in the paint and turned 18 turnovers into 30 points, without Chet Holmgren and Cason Wallace.

The Thunder are 7-2 and host Washington on Saturday. Memphis fell to 6-3 and visits Toronto on Monday, Nov. 9.
