Warriors 124, Clippers 112

Yaxel Lendeborg shot 13-of-19, 6-of-11 from three, with six assists in 34 minutes at Chase Center on Sunday.

Since Curry in 2010

It was the most points by a Warriors rookie since Stephen Curry had 42 at Portland on April 14, 2010. Curry rested and watched from the bench.

From six to 37

Two nights earlier against the Lakers, Lendeborg had six points, five turnovers and six fouls. "That was an awful game," he said.

19 by halftime

His 26-footer off a Brandin Podziemski pass with 8.5 seconds left put Golden State up 63-55 at the break.

'Ethical hoops'

Told he was three from 40, he missed his last three shots. "I'm a guy that loves ethical hoops," he said, and promised not to chase stats again.

In rare company

He has two 30-point games in his first seven. The only other Warriors to do that are Wilt Chamberlain and Rick Barry.

Four straight wins

Golden State has won four in a row after an 0-3 start. Curry and Draymond Green rested on the first night of a back-to-back.
