Lakers waive Cole Swider in five more camp cuts

Oct 14, 2026

Five cuts in one day

The Lakers waived Cole Swider, Cleveland cut Jaxson Robinson, San Antonio released Terry Taylor, Denver waived Steven Crowl and the Clippers cut DeAndre Williams.

Swider's short stint

Swider signed an Exhibit 10 deal on Sept. 27. He spent last season with Anadolu Efes, shooting 42 percent from three.

Robinson cut again

Cleveland signed Robinson on Oct. 9 and waived him five days later, the second straight preseason it has cut him.

Taylor's path to Austin

The Austin Spurs hold Taylor's G League returning rights, so a waiver followed by a move to Austin was the likely plan.

Where they go next

Each of the five has a clear link to his team's G League affiliate, the usual landing spot for October camp cuts.
