Brown missed the first three preseason games after rolling his left ankle in practice about three weeks earlier.

When Nikola Jović went under a screen, Brown stepped into a deep three. On his next touch he took the lane for a layup.

On a minutes limit off the bench, he had five points on 2-of-3 shooting and three rebounds in eight first-half minutes.

"It's going to mean the world — especially back in Florida for me," said Brown, who grew up in the state.

While sidelined, he focused on Jordi Fernández's concepts and stayed vocal in film sessions.
