The Lakers signed guard Jahmir Young to an Exhibit 10 contract and waived forward Cole Swider before Friday's preseason finale.

The undrafted Maryland guard averaged about 26 points and 8.9 assists for Sioux Falls and made All-NBA G League Second Team.

The Coachella Valley Lakers acquired his G League returning-player rights from Sioux Falls on Sept. 29.

Swider, a 6-foot-8 forward, had been in camp on a non-guaranteed deal after 35 career regular-season games.

Rosters must be set by Oct. 19 at 5 p.m. ET. Young's likeliest path is a season in the desert with Coachella Valley.
