Cam Christie is coming back to Los Angeles. After clearing waivers on Friday, the free agent guard has agreed to re-sign with the Clippers on a new two-way contract, according to reporter Shams Charania, with team sideline reporter Ohm Youngmisuk confirming the news.

Los Angeles waived the 21-year-old on October 14, one day before his previous minimum-salary contract would have become guaranteed. Christie and the Clippers had agreed twice earlier in the offseason to push back that guarantee date, and reporter Jake Fischer had indicated late Thursday that the club was interested in bringing him back on a two-way deal.

The 46th overall pick in the 2024 draft, Christie played a modest role over his first two NBA seasons. He made 55 appearances in 2025-26, averaging 2.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in 8.7 minutes per game.

Under the two-way agreement, Christie will be eligible to be active for 50 of the Clippers’ 82 regular-season games and will earn $678,882 in 2026-27, half of the rookie minimum. The Clippers have a two-way opening, but their standard roster is currently full, so they will have to release someone before the move can become official.
