Cleveland has added Jaxson Robinson and Noam Yaacov on training camp contracts, according to an October 9 report from The Spot Up Shot. Hoops Rumors also reported the signings, while CBS Sports separately reported Yaacov’s camp agreement.

These are preseason additions, not confirmation that either player has secured a place on Cleveland’s regular-season roster. The reports reviewed did not identify the corresponding releases needed to make room, so those names remain unconfirmed here.

Two players with different routes to camp

Robinson already has experience in Cleveland’s developmental system. Hoops Rumors reported that the guard and forward spent his first professional season with the Cleveland Charge after going undrafted in 2025. In 33 regular-season G League appearances, he averaged 10.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 21.0 minutes, shooting 37.3% from three-point range.

Yaacov played last season with Oostende in Belgium. The same report listed averages of 17.2 points, 6.0 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.1 steals over 46 appearances. CBS Sports reported that the point guard signed his camp deal Friday, giving him an opportunity to participate in Cleveland’s preseason.

The next development to watch is Cleveland’s final roster decision, rather than assuming these camp contracts settle it. Both players can be evaluated during the preseason, but no regular-season role was announced in the sources reviewed. Potential departures should also be treated as separate news once verified, not inferred from the fact that Cleveland needed roster space.
