Kyrie Irving is not on the league injury report for Monday's game in Miami after sitting the Spurs loss for knee management. Naji Marshall is out with an illness and Caleb Martin is doubtful.

Kyrie Irving is set to return for the Dallas Mavericks on Monday in Miami. He does not appear on the league’s injury report for the game against the Miami Heat, according to both Rotoworld and CBS Sports, two days after he sat out a home loss to San Antonio.
His return comes as Dallas loses another body on the wing. Naji Marshall, who started in Irving’s place on Saturday, has been ruled out with an illness, so the Mavericks swap one starter for another rather than gaining a ball handler outright.
Saturday’s absence was about workload. Dallas listed Irving for left knee injury management on the second night of a back-to-back and moved him from questionable to doubtful to out before tip-off. No new injury was reported. The knee is the one he had surgically repaired after tearing the ACL in March 2025, a recovery Rotoworld notes was also slowed by a calf strain.
When he has played, the 34-year-old guard has looked like himself. He scored 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting in the loss at Houston, then had 24 points with five 3-pointers in the 121-105 win at Indiana. How often Dallas rests him on back-to-backs is still an open question. The team has not set out a plan in public.
Without Irving, Dallas lost 122-106 to the Spurs and trailed for more than 38 minutes. Marcus Sasser had 12 points and five assists off the bench, and Marshall finished with 10 points, four rebounds and five assists in 21 minutes as a starter. The Mavericks are now 1-2.
Marshall is not the only name on the list. Caleb Martin is doubtful with a sprained right thumb and has yet to play this season, and Tarik Biberovic is out with a heel injury. Cooper Flagg is questionable with the left shoulder sprain he suffered Friday in Indiana. If Flagg can’t go, more of the wing minutes fall to Zaccharie Risacher and Max Christie, while P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford anchor the frontcourt. Miami comes in 0-3 after a 115-110 loss in Charlotte on Saturday. Every status for the night is on our NBA injury report page.
