Yaxel Lendeborg finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds and six assists as the Golden State Warriors beat the Sacramento Kings 111-106 in their October 10 preseason game. Brandon Williams added 19 points off the bench.

The official NBA box score records Lendeborg making 10 of his 14 shots in just under 24 minutes, with two steals and a block. Williams shot 7-of-8 from the field and made both of his three-point attempts.

Warriors build their lead in the middle quarters

Sacramento led 25-24 after the first quarter. Golden State answered with a 37-point second quarter to take a 61-56 halftime lead, then went into the fourth ahead 89-81. The Kings won the final period 25-22, but the Warriors held on for the five-point victory.

Gui Santos contributed 15 points and six rebounds. Brandin Podziemski had 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Georges Niang scored 13. Golden State shot 48.1 percent overall and made 12 of its 35 three-point attempts.

Acuff leads Sacramento with 25 points

Darius Acuff Jr. led the Kings with 25 points and eight assists. He made eight of his 15 shots, including four of six from three, and went 5-of-5 at the free-throw line. Jonathan Mogbo added 12 points, eight rebounds and five steals.

Sacramento shot 41.8 percent and made 10 of 30 threes. The Kings collected 15 steals, while Golden State’s official team total included 23 turnovers. Those mistakes kept this exhibition competitive despite the Warriors’ stronger shooting.

The NBA’s official game record lists the result as final. This was a preseason game, so the individual performances should not be treated as a settled regular-season role or rotation.
