NEW YORK — Oct. 14, 2026 — The last two nights of NBA preseason come with a free streaming window. NBA ID Member Days return Thursday, Oct. 15, and Friday, Oct. 16, and fans with a free NBA ID can watch up to 14 games on League Pass at no charge through 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, the league said in its Starting 5 note and Member Days guide.

Creating an NBA ID is free. During the two-day window, Member Days access is limited to League Pass streams of the listed preseason games; national TV games still sit on their usual networks. The perk ends before American Express NBA Tip-Off opens the regular season on Tuesday, Oct. 20.

Thursday, Oct. 15

  • 7:30 p.m. ET: Toronto Raptors at New York Knicks (League Pass). Kawhi Leonard’s second preseason game with Toronto comes at Madison Square Garden against the defending champion Knicks.
  • 8:30 p.m. ET: Oklahoma City Thunder at Houston Rockets (NBA TV). Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s Thunder visit Kevin Durant and Houston in the Thunder’s final exhibition.

Friday, Oct. 16

Friday packs 12 preseason games, several of them on League Pass for Member Days viewers and a few on national TV:

  • 7 p.m. ET: Boston Celtics at Philadelphia 76ers (NBA TV); Miami Heat at Orlando Magic (League Pass); Toronto Raptors at Detroit Pistons (League Pass); Milwaukee Bucks at Indiana Pacers (League Pass).
  • 8 p.m. ET: Atlanta Hawks at Dallas Mavericks (League Pass); Minnesota Timberwolves at Chicago Bulls (League Pass); Charlotte Hornets at Memphis Grizzlies (League Pass); Washington Wizards at New Orleans Pelicans (League Pass).
  • 10 p.m. ET: Sacramento Kings at San Antonio Spurs (League Pass); Portland Trail Blazers at Golden State Warriors (League Pass); Utah Jazz at Phoenix Suns (League Pass).
  • 10:30 p.m. ET: Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Lakers (League Pass).

What Member Days does and does not cover

Member Days unlocks League Pass streams for the free window only. Blackout and local-market rules still apply where a game is carried on regional sports networks or national TV. After 11:59 p.m. ET on Oct. 16, free Member Days access ends and regular League Pass subscriptions apply again.

The calendar also marks Monday, Oct. 19, at 5 p.m. ET as the roster cut-down deadline for opening night. Tip-Off’s national TV slate, ticket notes and the rest of the 2026-27 milestones are already collected on WhyNBA’s Tip-Off TV schedule and key dates pages.
