The league fined Bucks guard Kasparas Jakučionis $2,000 for flopping against Chicago, rescinded a Tari Eason technical, and its Last Two Minute reports found two misses that helped Golden State in its loss to Memphis.

The NBA fined Milwaukee Bucks guard Kasparas Jakučionis $2,000 for flopping on Sunday, October 25, the second postgame flopping penalty of the 2026-27 season, after the league office reviewed a play from the Bucks’ 132-125 home loss to the Chicago Bulls on Friday.
No foul or violation was called on the floor. The fine came only after league staff studied the video, the same route that produced the season’s first one, against Boston’s Paul George for a play in Detroit on October 20. Under the system the league has used since the 2023-24 season, a first postgame flopping fine costs $2,000 and the amount rises for repeat offenders, much like the scale for technical fouls.
Jakučionis, in his second season, had 7 points, 5 assists and 2 steals in just under 23 minutes against Chicago. The Bucks led by 15 early and spent more than 34 minutes in front, but the Bulls scored 44 points in the second quarter and closed the game shooting 28 of 30 at the free-throw line. Milwaukee lost again in Philadelphia on Saturday and is 0-3.
The league office also rescinded the technical foul called on Houston’s Tari Eason with 4:19 left in the second quarter of Saturday’s 121-114 win in Atlanta. It is the second time in four days a ruling against Eason has been softened: a Flagrant 2 he drew against P.J. Washington in the season opener was downgraded to a Flagrant 1 on Thursday. In the same Atlanta game, replay officials used Court iQ to change a first-quarter Kevin Durant three into a two.
The officiating reports for Friday’s five close games, posted on Saturday, judged the ending of Houston’s 114-110 win over San Antonio clean. The reviewers said Amen Thompson was in a legal guarding position before he blocked Victor Wembanyama with 2.4 seconds left, and that Marcus Smart’s brief hand on Wembanyama did not affect the shot.
The Warriors got the benefit of two missed calls in their 111-108 home loss to the Grizzlies and still lost. With 1:53 left, Golden State should have been called for failing to get the ball across midcourt in eight seconds, and at 1:12 Draymond Green should have been whistled for an offensive foul for using his upper body on a screen against Jaylen Wells. Memphis closed the game on a 17-0 run anyway.
Elsewhere, the report on Boston’s 107-103 win over New York said the Knicks should have been given the ball with 57.6 seconds left after Payton Pritchard last touched it before it went out of bounds. In Milwaukee, Tre Jones should have been called for a foul when he hit Jaime Jaquez Jr.’s arm and knocked the ball loose with 58.2 seconds to go. The ending of Utah’s 120-119 win over New Orleans had no errors.
The Bucks host the Indiana Pacers on Monday, October 26 at 8 p.m. ET (Game Center), and the Rockets and Hawks meet again the same night in Houston at 8:30 p.m. ET (Game Center). The league usually posts the reports for close games the following day.
