Sunday, October 25, has seven NBA games, and seven of the league’s unbeaten teams are in action. Two of them will lose on the same night: the 2-0 Toronto Raptors visit the 2-0 Minnesota Timberwolves, and the 2-0 Detroit Pistons visit the 3-0 Philadelphia 76ers. The first tip is Lakers at Jazz at 5 p.m. ET, which is midnight in Cairo, and the last is Grizzlies at Kings at 9 p.m. ET, or 4 a.m. Monday in Cairo.

Raptors at Timberwolves is the only national game, on NBA TV in the United States, and it is LaMelo Ball’s first home game for Minnesota. The other six are on local TV and NBA League Pass. Philadelphia and Brooklyn both played on Saturday, and Minnesota, Oklahoma City, Memphis and Utah all play again on Monday. Availability below follows the league’s official injury report as it stood Saturday night; our injuries page tracks every change before tip.

Lakers at Jazz, 5 p.m. ET

The Lakers are 2-0, their best start in 14 seasons, and open their first road trip in Salt Lake City. Walker Kessler, who started his career in Utah, makes his first trip back after 22 points and six blocks in Friday’s 125-117 win over the Clippers, a night Austin Reaves finished with 28 and dished nine assists. Jake LaRavia missed that game with a right ankle sprain. Utah is 1-1 after a 120-119 home-opening win over New Orleans, decided at the line by rookie Darryn Peterson in the final minute.

Pacers at Nets, 6 p.m. ET

Brooklyn is 0-2 and comes back from Cleveland, where it cut a 17-point deficit to two in the last minutes before losing 125-121. Michael Porter Jr. had 28 points in that game. The Nets will hold out rookie Mikel Brown Jr., the No. 6 pick, to protect his left ankle on the back-to-back. Indiana is 1-1 and has had two days to recover from a 121-105 home loss to Dallas; guard Ben Sheppard is out with a torn left meniscus.

Magic at Knicks, 7 p.m. ET

One of these 0-2 teams gets its first win. New York lost its opener to Philadelphia and then fell 107-103 in Boston on Friday, when Jayson Tatum scored seven of his 36 points in the final 1:24. Orlando will be without Paolo Banchero, who has a low-grade high ankle sprain, but Anthony Black is questionable and could make his season debut.

Raptors at Timberwolves, 7 p.m. ET, NBA TV

Toronto owns the stingiest defense in the league so far, 90.0 points allowed per 100 possessions in wins over Chicago and Washington, and Scottie Barnes had 28 points and 14 rebounds on Friday. Minnesota won its first two on the road, 131-106 in Miami and 115-93 in Orlando with seven players in double figures. Now Ball, Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert play at Target Center for the first time this season.

Clippers at Thunder, 7 p.m. ET

Oklahoma City is 2-0 and has been off since Thursday’s 96-84 win over Denver, the night Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 141-game run of 20-point games ended. The Clippers are 1-1 after beating Sacramento and losing Friday’s city game to the Lakers. The Thunder host Phoenix on Monday.

Pistons at 76ers, 7:30 p.m. ET

The East’s best record is on the line. Philadelphia is 3-0 after a 127-116 win over Milwaukee on Saturday, when Jaylen Brown scored 27 on his 30th birthday and Joel Embiid posted 28 points, 11 boards and 10 assists for a triple-double. LeBron James sat that game for low back and sciatica management, and his status for the second night had not been announced. Detroit beat Miami 128-111 on Friday but will be without Jalen Duren (right hamstring strain), while a right ankle sprain makes Ausar Thompson questionable.

Grizzlies at Kings, 9 p.m. ET

Memphis is 2-0 after closing Friday’s game at Golden State on a 17-0 run, finished by rookie Cameron Boozer’s go-ahead jumper. Zach Edey sits this one for ankle management and is expected back Monday in Utah. Sacramento is 0-2, and Keegan Murray is questionable with left ankle capsulitis. Rookie Darius Acuff Jr. scored 33 in Friday’s loss to Portland.
