Fox starts Wednesday against Phoenix after missing San Antonio's first three exhibitions.

Coach Mitch Johnson called the hip tightness nothing serious or long term.

Dylan Harper starts, and Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell play after resting at Utah.

Tobias Harris is out for the rest of the preseason with a calf strain. Jayden Quaintance is out indefinitely after knee surgery.

The Spurs play one more exhibition Friday, then open the regular season against Oklahoma City on Oct. 20.
