Victor Wembanyama is 3-for-3 on NBA blocks titles

Oct 14, 2026

Three seasons, three titles

Victor Wembanyama has led the NBA in blocked shots in every season of his career, topping both the total and per-game tables again in 2025-26.

197 blocks in 64 games

The Spurs center averaged 3.1 blocks a night and finished 44 blocks clear of Pacers center Jay Huff, who was second with 153.

The career line

254 as a rookie, 176 in a shortened 2024-25 and 197 last season: 627 blocks in 181 games, roughly 3.46 per game.

More than a shot-blocker

He averaged 25.0 points and 11.5 rebounds and led the league in defensive win shares on the way to Defensive Player of the Year.

What to watch next

The race resets when the Spurs open next week. The question is whether he stays on the floor long enough to chase his rookie total of 254.
