Schedule source: whynba · Retrieved Oct 9, 2:29 am EDTChicago signed Isaiah Stevens after waiving Peter Suder. The original camp report is preserved below an October 8 update, with a link to later roster coverage.

Update, October 8, 2026: Chicago has since waived Isaiah Stevens. Read our later Bulls roster coverage. The original signing report follows.
Updated October 2, 2026, 9:48 p.m. ET: The Chicago Bulls announced the signing of guard Isaiah Stevens after waiving Peter Suder on Thursday, October 1. The two moves change Chicago’s backcourt group during training camp.
The announcement did not disclose Stevens’ contract terms. Reporter Kevin Lytle subsequently described the deal as an Exhibit 10 contract. That reported attachment is not confirmation of a guaranteed opening-night roster spot or a two-way conversion.
Suder’s departure follows a separate roster change announced Wednesday, September 30, when Chicago waived forward Marquel Sutton and signed Jalen Bridges.
Stevens enters camp with a much longer track record as a distributor in the G League than as an NBA rotation player. In his October 2 report, Kevin Lytle noted that Stevens averaged 14.5 points, 8.6 assists and 3.4 rebounds for Stockton last season, compared with 3.3 points and 3.3 assists in limited NBA action for Sacramento. Those are separate levels of competition; the G League production is useful background, not a forecast of his NBA role.
His route to Chicago began at Colorado State, where he played from 2019 to 2024 and became the program’s career leader in points, assists and three-pointers. He went undrafted in 2024, made his NBA debut with Miami during the 2024-25 season and joined Sacramento for 2025-26.
For Bulls followers, the distinction to watch is between a camp opportunity and a place in the regular-season rotation. Chicago has signed a guard with sustained playmaking experience, but neither the signing nor his previous statistics establishes playing time. A later waiver, G League agreement or two-way conversion would be a separate development requiring confirmation.
Suder was included on the Bulls’ September 25 training-camp roster.
Suder averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists in his final season at Miami (Ohio), shooting 42.1% from three-point range.
If a camp contract has an Exhibit 10 attachment, it can provide an affiliate bonus if a waived player later signs with the NBA club’s G League affiliate and completes the required stay. The waiver itself does not confirm either step or that the bonus has been earned. It also differs from an NBA player remaining under contract on a G League assignment. Our waiver-process explainer separates those routes.
Bridges, 25, brings eight games of NBA experience with Phoenix from the 2024-25 season.
Those moves were announced while Chicago was preparing for its October 7 preseason opener against the Phoenix Suns at the United Center.
