Boston may rest its center on the first night of a back-to-back, and Orlando rules out five players including Banchero and Suggs for Sunday's game.

The Boston Celtics listed Mitchell Robinson as questionable for rest for Sunday’s game at the Orlando Magic, the first half of a back-to-back, while Orlando ruled out Paolo Banchero, Jalen Suggs and three more players on the league’s 6:30 p.m. ET report on Saturday.
The designation is about managing a center with a long ankle history rather than a new injury. Boston plays at the Houston Rockets on Monday night, so the Celtics may have to choose which of the two games Robinson works.
Robinson came to Boston this offseason after years as the longest-tenured player on the New York Knicks, and his Celtics debut on October 20 against the Detroit Pistons ended with a sore ankle that the club played down. Ankle trouble cut into his minutes in each of his last three seasons in New York. He still appeared in 60 games for the Knicks last season, averaging 5.7 points and 8.8 rebounds in 19.6 minutes.
If he sits, Neemias Queta is the natural candidate to start in the middle. Guard Devin Carter remains out with an illness, the only other Celtic on the report. Boston is 4-1 after a 125-111 win over the Chicago Bulls on Friday.
The Magic, 2-3 after winning 121-114 in Toronto on Friday, have spent the past week without two of their most important players. Banchero remains out with the low-grade right high ankle sprain confirmed by an MRI last week. Suggs has a right knee bone bruise from the final minutes of the win over the Knicks in New York on October 25; the Magic said an MRI found no structural damage and that he would be re-evaluated after two weeks.
Noah Penda (partially torn right hamstring), Jonathan Isaac (left knee injury management) and Izaiyah Nelson (left ankle injury recovery) are also out, which leaves Desmond Bane and Franz Wagner to carry the offense again. The pair combined for 54 points in Toronto.
Every listing is tracked on the NBA injury report page, with team context on the Celtics and Magic pages.
The Celtics visit the Magic at Kia Center on Sunday, November 1, at 3:30 p.m. ET (Game Center). Boston then plays at Houston on Monday, November 2, at 8:30 p.m. ET (Game Center), and Orlando hosts the Washington Wizards the same night at 7:30 p.m. ET (Game Center).
