Alperen Sengun. Image: licensed from BasketAPI.Alperen Sengun had imaging on his back after it tightened up during Monday’s game, and it showed a mild strain, Rockets coach Ime Udoka said Wednesday.
Sengun was already ruled out of Wednesday night’s game at Milwaukee with low back soreness on the league’s official injury report. Udoka, speaking on SportsTalk 790 in Houston, indicated the center could miss more than that game. “Hopefully it’s short-term, a few games at most,” Udoka said. “Looking forward to having him back quickly.”
Sengun had 29 points and nine assists in Monday’s 120-110 home win over Atlanta that moved the Rockets to 4-0.
