Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren has been diagnosed with a strained right hamstring and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, the team announced Sunday.
Duren suffered the injury in the second quarter of Friday’s game at Miami and appeared on Saturday’s injury report with the strain. He sat out Tuesday’s game against New York.
Duren made his first All-Star team and earned third-team All-NBA honors last season, averaging 19.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 70 games. He re-signed with Detroit on a five-year, $200 million deal. The Pistons entered Tuesday’s game at 3-0.
