Joel Embiid enters the season at full strength, and Tyrese Maxey says it ‘changes everything’

Joel Embiid has not appeared in more than 39 regular season games in any of the past three years, but the Philadelphia 76ers’ star center is entering this season at full strength, and Tyrese Maxey says that “changes everything” for the Sixers, according to reporter Kris Rhim.

“If you haven’t been playing with a big like Joel – there’s not many – it’s very hard, very difficult to learn certain things,” Maxey said. “So, with him being here, we can drill those things over and over. It’s been what, like two, three weeks that we’ve had just drilling and drilling. That’s a good thing.”

The Sixers open their regular season on Tuesday against the New York Knicks.
