The Los Angeles Lakers signed center Lawson Lovering to a two-way contract and waived two-way wing AK Okereke, the team announced.

Lovering, 23, went undrafted out of Utah in 2025 and was cut by the Memphis Grizzlies in late September after signing a training camp deal. He appeared in two NBA games for the Grizzlies on a 10-day contract in February.

In 19 G League regular-season games for the Memphis Hustle last season, the seven-footer averaged 8.8 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 27.4 minutes, per the league’s statistics.

Okereke signed his two-way contract in July after going undrafted out of Vanderbilt and did not appear in a game for Los Angeles.
