The Magic have exercised their 2027-28 rookie scale team options on forward Tristan da Silva and guard Jase Richardson, Jason Beede reports. The team confirmed the moves in a press release.

Both already had guaranteed contracts this season, and their deals are now guaranteed through next season too. Da Silva’s fourth-year option is worth roughly $6.14 million and Richardson’s third-year option about $3.28 million.

Da Silva, 25, has been a regular rotation player since Orlando drafted him 18th overall in 2024. He has started 72 of his 151 regular season games, averaging 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 23.4 minutes, shooting .433/.357/.880. He becomes eligible for a rookie scale extension in 2027 and would be a restricted free agent in 2028 without a new deal.

Richardson was the No. 25 pick out of Michigan State in 2025 and made 54 appearances off the bench as a rookie, averaging 4.4 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists. He turned 21 last Friday and earned praise from teammates and coach Sean Sweeney for his preseason growth. His contract includes a $5.91 million fourth-year option for 2028-29, which Orlando must exercise by Nov. 1, 2027.
