NEW YORK — Oct. 13, 2026 — The NBA on Tuesday revealed the special courts all 30 teams will use for the 2026 NBA Cup, bringing back the bright, unmistakable floors that are meant to tell viewers at a glance that a Cup game is on.

What the floors look like

This year’s designs draw on Nike’s “End of Ordinary” NBA Standard Issue Collection, carrying that apparel line’s look onto the hardwood. Each court features the team logo at center court along with the NBA Cup trophy, plus oversized woodmarks spelling out the team name in the same style as the collection’s jackets.

Teams will also wear their Statement Edition uniforms in every Cup game, adding another visual signal that the night counts toward the in-season tournament.

Where the courts will be used

The floors will appear during group play, the quarterfinals and the semifinals. That last part is new: the semifinals will now be played on the home court of the higher-seeded team instead of at a neutral site. The two finalists will then travel to Indianapolis to play for the trophy at Hinkle Fieldhouse, the historic home of Butler University basketball.

How the tournament works

Cup action begins Oct. 30 and runs on designated Cup nights through Nov. 27. The 30 teams have been split into three five-team groups in each conference, and every club plays four group games against the rest of its group. Each group winner, with point differential as the tiebreaker, advances along with one wild card per conference to an eight-team, single-elimination bracket, four from the East and four from the West.

The New York Knicks won last season’s Cup by beating the San Antonio Spurs in the final, and the same two teams went on to meet in the NBA Finals in June.
