The New Orleans Pelicans re-signed center Hunter Dickinson to a non-guaranteed training camp contract with Exhibit 10 language, the team announced, two months after waiving him from his two-way deal.

Dickinson, 25, starred at Michigan and Kansas in college before going undrafted. The 7-foot-1 big man appeared in five games for the Pelicans last season while on a two-way contract, totaling 12 points, five rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 42 minutes.

He spent most of the season with the team’s G League affiliate, averaging 17.6 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 0.8 blocks in 30.3 minutes per game across 44 appearances, and now looks likely to rejoin the rebranded, relocated Laketown Squadron.

If the Pelicans waive Dickinson before the season, the Exhibit 10 language would make him eligible for a bonus worth up to $91,000 on top of his G League salary as long as he spends at least 60 days with the Squadron.
