TORONTO — Oct. 15, 2026 — The Raptors have locked in their 2026-27 theme-night calendar, and the two dates that will move tickets fastest are already clear: the Oct. 21 home opener against Chicago, where every fan gets a free We The North T-shirt, and a three-game Kyle Lowry Celebration Week in January that ends with his No. 7 going to the Scotiabank Arena rafters.

The team posted the full slate on Oct. 8 under the line “Theme Nights are locked in,” with separate graphics for the opener, OVO Night and Lowry week. It runs 17 home dates from October to April: the opener, Raptors Halloween, two NBA Cup nights, OVO Night, a new eight-game Sunday Funday series, three GROAT Nights, WWE Night and Fan Appreciation Night.

Home opener: a shirt for every fan

Toronto opens at home on Wednesday, Oct. 21, against the Bulls at 7:30 p.m. ET in a game presented by Tangerine. Every fan gets an exclusive 2026-27 home opener T-shirt on the way in, a white We The North design. The Raptors were still pushing tickets for it on Oct. 14 with a “The North is back” post, a week out from tip-off.

It is also the first regular-season home game of Kawhi Leonard’s second spell in Toronto, after his preseason return against the Knicks. Expect the opener to sell like an event, not like a normal October Wednesday.

Halloween, Cup nights and OVO Night

Raptors Halloween comes back on Wednesday, Oct. 28, against Orlando. The club is promising concourse activations, live fan costume contests and Halloween bits worked into the game presentation, plus a limited-time Skeleton Raptor merchandise collection at Real Sports Apparel.

Two days later, on Friday, Oct. 30, Orlando visits again for the first of two Raptors Cup nights, Toronto’s Emirates NBA Cup group-play home games. The second is Friday, Nov. 27, against the Nets. Both tip at 7:30 p.m. ET, and both count in the standings as well as in the Cup race.

OVO Night is Tuesday, Nov. 17, against the Knicks at 7:30 p.m. ET. It brings exclusive OVO programming and retail drops around the arena. The OVO Night graphic was the most-liked of the team’s Oct. 8 theme-night posts on X, with more than 4,000 likes, so this is the November weeknight ticket most likely to go fast.

Lowry Celebration Week

The centerpiece is a three-game run in January built around the player the team calls the GROAT, the Greatest Raptor of All Time. The Raptors announced in August that Lowry’s No. 7 will be retired in a postgame ceremony on Sunday, Jan. 10, when Philadelphia, his hometown team and his last NBA stop, visits at 6 p.m. ET. Lowry will be only the second Raptor with a retired number, after Vince Carter’s No. 15 went up on Nov. 2, 2024.

The week opens with two GROAT Nights. On Thursday, Jan. 7, against Minnesota (7:30 p.m. ET, on Prime Video), every fan gets a GROAT T-shirt in a night presented by Crispers. On Friday, Jan. 8, against Utah (7:30 p.m. ET), every fan gets a Kyle Lowry bobblehead in a night presented by Tangerine. Both giveaways are for all fans on entry, not just the first few thousand through the doors.

“I’ve been looking forward to this moment for years. I always said that Toronto is home, and that I’d retire a Raptor, and to see my No. 7 go up in that building is going to mean everything to me,” Lowry said when the date was announced. He spent nine seasons in Toronto, led the 2019 championship team and is the franchise’s career leader in assists, steals and 3-pointers. He signed a one-day contract to retire as a Raptor on July 7. Nick Nurse, who coached that title team, now runs the 76ers bench, so Jan. 10 doubles as a reunion.

The Raptors also said they would send one fan, with a guest, to all three GROAT Nights through a social-media contest. Lowry 7 socks are already on sale at in-arena merchandise kiosks while supplies last, with proceeds supporting the MLSE Foundation’s youth sport programs.

Sunday Funday, WWE Night and Fan Appreciation

New this season is Sunday Funday, a family-focused series with activities for all ages and giveaways and surprises spread across the building. It covers eight Sunday home games, from the Knicks on Nov. 15 to the Pacers on April 4. Two of them, Dec. 20 against Houston and April 4 against Indiana, tip at 3:30 p.m. ET, the earliest starts on the theme list.

WWE Night returns on Sunday, Feb. 7, against Charlotte at 6 p.m. ET, with WWE-themed programming and activations throughout the arena. The calendar closes with Fan Appreciation Night on Wednesday, April 7, against the Nets: merchandise giveaways, bowl drops and prizes all game, and a personalized framed Fan of the Year jersey handed out on court.

How to approach tickets

The Raptors are selling theme-night seats through their official ticketing channels, with Ticketmaster as the primary seller. The opener and the three Lowry games are the ones to buy early. All four have an every-fan giveaway or a ceremony attached, and the Jan. 10 banner night lands on a Sunday evening against a 76ers team with deep Toronto ties. The midweek Halloween and Fan Appreciation games, and most of the Sunday Fundays, should be easier to get into.
