INDIANAPOLIS — Oct. 14, 2026 — Tickets for the Emirates NBA Cup 2026 Championship at Hinkle Fieldhouse are on public sale, and fans buying now are locking in a seat at the final before they know which two teams will play it. The winner-take-all game is Friday, Dec. 11, at Butler University’s historic ~9,100-seat arena, and it streams exclusively on Prime Video.

The league announced the public on-sale on Oct. 1, with inventory listed at NBAEvents.com. Official VIP packages from NBA Experiences remain a separate lane for hospitality and trophy-photo access. Group Play and earlier knockout games stay with each host team’s ticket seller.

What you are buying on Dec. 11

The Championship is the only Cup game this season at a neutral site. Semifinals return to the higher seed’s home floor, then both finalists travel to Indianapolis. The final sits outside the regular-season standings and outside players’ season statistics, so the ticket is for the trophy game itself — not an 82-game box score.

Hinkle Fieldhouse has hosted NBA teams in the league’s early years and remains one of college basketball’s landmark buildings. Capacity is about 9,100, which is a tighter, louder room than a typical NBA arena. Arrive ready for a compact campus venue rather than a modern downtown bowl.

Where to buy: three different lanes

  • Championship general tickets: NBAEvents.com, on public sale since Oct. 1. You are purchasing the event and venue before the East and West finalists are set after the Dec. 8–9 semifinals.
  • Championship VIP packages: NBAExperiences.com. Official packages bundle seats with pregame hospitality, Emirates NBA Cup trophy photo opportunities, and higher tiers that add on-court photos with an NBA legend or a legends dinner. Confirm inclusions and fees on the package page before checkout.
  • Group Play, quarterfinals and semifinals: Host-team ticketing partners and NBATickets.com. Those games are in NBA arenas; inventory moves with each club’s single-game and package sales.

Cup calendar to keep next to the ticket

  • Group Play: Oct. 30 through Nov. 27 on designated Cup Nights (Fridays plus Nov. 24–25).
  • Quarterfinals: Dec. 4–5 in team markets.
  • Semifinals: Dec. 8 and/or Dec. 9 on the higher seed’s floor.
  • Championship: Dec. 11 at Hinkle Fieldhouse, Prime Video only.

Knockout Round games stream on Prime. WhyNBA already has the Cup courts guide, group schedule hubs and the broader 2026-27 key-dates article; this page is the ticket map for the final and the earlier Cup games around it.

Practical checks before you pay

Confirm the seller is NBAEvents, NBA Experiences or the host team’s official partner — not a screenshot of a social post. Read the final checkout total, transfer rules and refund language. For the Championship, accept that you will not know the matchup until a few days before tip. For Group Play, buy the specific home date you want through that team’s ticket page.
