Alperen Sengun recorded 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in 21 minutes, 47 seconds as Houston beat Dallas 135-117 in Friday’s preseason game in Macao. The Rockets center’s triple-double is confirmed in the official NBA box score, which lists the game as Final.

Sengun made six of his nine field-goal attempts and four of five free throws. He also recorded a steal. It was a productive opening exhibition for a player whose passing helped Houston finish with 36 assists as a team.

Houston had scoring support across the rotation. Tari Eason led the team with 20 points and added nine rebounds. Fred VanVleet finished with 17 points and seven assists, making five three-pointers. Reed Sheppard scored 16, while Kevin Durant added 15. These figures come from the league’s box score, rather than projections for the regular season.

The Rockets led 65-45 at halftime after a 38-point second quarter. Dallas scored 72 points over the final two quarters, but Houston’s early cushion held. Cooper Flagg led the Mavericks with 19 points, six rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes, two seconds.

NBA.com’s recap identifies this as the first of two matchups in the 2026 China Games. The result counts toward preseason records, not regular-season standings. Sengun’s triple-double therefore should not be added to his regular-season career total.

The video above remains hosted by the Rockets’ original X post. It gives readers a view from the Macao opener alongside the verified game figures, without copying the team’s footage onto this site.
