Chicago added Norman Powell as questionable with right shoulder inflammation and soreness for Sunday’s game against Philadelphia, the first time he has appeared on an injury report this season.
Duren: cleared for on-court work, next update in two weeks
The Pistons released a medical update Sunday saying Duren continues to make progress through rehab for the right hamstring strain he picked up at Miami on Oct. 23. He has been cleared to begin on-court basketball activity, and Detroit will update his status again in two weeks. That keeps him out of Sunday’s home game against the Lakers, where he is listed as out alongside Isaiah Joe (right hip contusion).
Powell: questionable against Philadelphia with right shoulder inflammation
Chicago added Powell to Sunday’s 3:30 p.m. ET report as questionable with right shoulder inflammation and soreness. Beat writer K.C. Johnson noted it is the first time Powell has been on the injury report this season. The Bulls still list Nic Claxton as questionable with a left hamstring strain and Jalen Smith as probable with a left finger sprain, while Zach Collins is out with a respiratory illness. Philadelphia has Joel Embiid probable for management of his right plantar fascia.
Jazz add Keyonte George; Dončić and Markkanen still questionable
Utah added Keyonte George as questionable with an illness for Sunday’s 7 p.m. ET game at Minnesota. Lauri Markkanen remains questionable with a right wrist sprain. Luka Dončić is still questionable at Detroit with lower back tightness; no tip-time decision had been posted as of the 12:30 p.m. ET official report ahead of the 6 p.m. ET game.
