Minnesota's official Jonathan Kuminga reel from Target Center: 16 points on 5-of-6 shooting, four rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes of a 128-106 preseason loss to Detroit.

The Minnesota Timberwolves posted a Jonathan Kuminga individual highlight package from Wednesday’s 128-106 preseason loss to the Detroit Pistons at Target Center. The clip runs about a minute and a half and isolates Kuminga’s scoring in a game Minnesota led after one quarter before Detroit took over.
Kuminga finished with 16 points on 5-of-6 shooting, including 2-of-3 from three, and went 4-of-5 at the line. He added four rebounds, three assists and a steal in 22 minutes, making him the most efficient of Minnesota’s starters. Anthony Edwards led the Wolves with 20 points, going 9-of-9 from the free-throw line, Jaden McDaniels scored 12, and Joan Beringer and Ayo Dosunmu had 10 each. For Detroit, Jalen Duren scored 24 in only 15 minutes on 8-of-9 shooting, Duncan Robinson added 15 with four threes, and Cade Cunningham had 14 points and nine assists.
Minnesota opened with a 38-29 first quarter, but Detroit won the second 36-20 to take a 65-58 lead into the half. The Pistons kept going with a 32-24 third and a 31-24 fourth for the 128-106 final. Kuminga’s efficiency stood out on a night when Minnesota shot poorly from its backcourt, with Edwards going 5-of-15 and LaMelo Ball 1-of-5.
With Kuminga missing only one shot in his 22 minutes, this is the cleanest official look at how Minnesota is using him as a scorer next to Edwards and McDaniels ahead of the regular season.
