The Wizards have converted Reece Beekman’s Exhibit 10 contract to a two-way deal, filling their open two-way slot, the team announced Saturday.

Beekman, 25, appeared in 36 regular season games for the Warriors and Nets in 2024/25 after going undrafted out of Virginia, then spent last season with the Osceola Magic in the G League. In 48 outings for Orlando’s affiliate, he averaged 10.0 points, 6.5 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 2.1 steals in 30.3 minutes per game on .431/.274/.781 shooting. The point guard struggled during the preseason for Washington, totaling five points and five assists with seven turnovers in 32 minutes, but the team opted to retain him alongside fellow two-way players Felix Okpara and Jamir Watkins.

The move was one of several on Saturday: Washington also waived guards Trevor Keels and Alondes Williams and forward Chris Livingston, all on Exhibit 10 contracts and candidates to join the Capital City Go-Go in the G League. Former Gonzaga guard Nolan Hickman signed an Exhibit 10 deal and was immediately cut, according to Keith Smith; he averaged 9.4 points, 3.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 41 games for the Go-Go last season.

Veteran forward Anthony Gill, on a non-guaranteed Exhibit 9 contract, was not among Saturday’s cuts — a signal he could open the season on the regular season roster.
