The Houston Rockets listed Alperen Sengun as questionable for Friday night’s game at Dallas with low back soreness, on the NBA’s official injury report updated Thursday evening.

Imaging this week showed a mild back strain after it tightened up during Monday’s game, and coach Ime Udoka said he hoped the absence would be short-term, “a few games at most.” Sengun sat out Wednesday’s 132-100 win at Milwaukee, which moved Houston to 5-0. His questionable designation as of the 8 p.m. ET report does not confirm whether he plays Friday. Houston also listed Marcus Smart as questionable with a left forearm strain, while Reed Sheppard (low back soreness) and Steven Adams (right soleus strain) are out. Dallas listed Santi Aldama (right knee surgery) and Tarik Biberovic (right heel bursitis) as doubtful. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET Friday.
