The Grizzlies intend to use their $28.9 million traded player exception to add to their draft stash by taking on an unwanted contract, league sources tell Brett Siegel.

Siegel names Memphis as a team worth monitoring for Kristaps Porzingis down the line as the Warriors explore the trade market for their sidelined center.

One possibility Siegel floats is a deal involving former Warriors big man Quinten Post, who becomes trade-eligible in December.
