Hawks sign Giorgi Bezhanishvili to Exhibit 10 deal ahead of preseason finale

The Atlanta Hawks have signed forward Giorgi Bezhanishvili to an Exhibit 10 contract, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Zach Langley and JameelahJ also reported the move on Wednesday ahead of Atlanta’s preseason finale.

The deal is a non-guaranteed training-camp agreement. It does not by itself confirm a regular-season roster spot or a two-way conversion.

Camp look after McKneely waiver

Atlanta waived guard Isaac McKneely on Tuesday, opening a preseason roster spot. Bezhanishvili’s signing gives the Hawks another big to evaluate before opening night.

Reports note that the Exhibit 10 path can lead to time with the College Park Skyhawks if he is later waived. Any G League assignment or bonus would be a separate next step from this camp deal.

Background

Bezhanishvili, listed at 6-foot-9 and 245 pounds, went undrafted in 2021 after three seasons at Illinois. He averaged 8.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in 95 college games.

He spent 2025-26 with the Windy City Bulls in the G League after earlier stops that include College Park, Iowa, and overseas clubs. The confirmed development Wednesday is the Hawks’ Exhibit 10 signing.
