Hawks waive final two camp invitees, roster set

The Hawks have waived forward Cameron Corhen and guard Kobe Johnson, their two remaining camp invitees, the team announced Saturday. Atlanta’s roster appears set for the regular season with 15 players on standard contracts — 14 with guaranteed salaries plus Mouhamed Gueye on a non-guaranteed deal — and three on two-way contracts.

Both players are expected to join the College Park Skyhawks, Atlanta’s G League affiliate. Their Exhibit 10 deals put them in line for bonuses — $40K for Corhen and $91K for Johnson — if they spend at least 60 days with the Skyhawks. Johnson is a returning rights player for College Park after suiting up for the team last season, while Corhen went undrafted out of Pittsburgh in June and could become an affiliate player. Both played for Atlanta’s Summer League squad in July and saw limited action during the preseason.
