Mavericks 2026-27 theme nights: Harry Potter, Peanuts, Space Jam, Anime, Hello Kitty, Star Wars and a Cooper Flagg bobble pack

DALLAS — Oct. 15, 2026 — The Mavericks have seven new theme nights at American Airlines Center this season. Harry Potter, Peanuts, Space Jam, anime, Hello Kitty and Star Wars each get a game, and a Fourth Wing ticket pack is tied to Pride Night. Every one of the seven comes with a ticket-pack item that you cannot get with a standard ticket.

The home schedule opens on Saturday, Oct. 24, when Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs visit for the Home Opener presented by Chase (7 p.m. CT). It is the third straight season the Spurs have opened Dallas’ home schedule. Before that, the Mavericks start on the road at Houston on Wednesday, Oct. 21, and at Indiana on Friday, Oct. 23.

The seven new theme nights

The first new night is Sunday, Nov. 8, against Brooklyn (6:30 p.m. CT). The Fourth Wing Ticket Pack includes a Mavs x Fourth Wing bomber jacket. That game is also the Mavericks’ Pride Night, and part of every Fourth Wing pack sold goes to The Trevor Project.

December has three of the new nights. Harry Potter Night is Monday, Dec. 14, against Milwaukee, with a Mavs x Harry Potter hat in each pack, and fans are encouraged to come in Hogwarts attire. The Holiday Game with Peanuts is Saturday, Dec. 19, against Chicago. It opens with a full pregame showing of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on the big screen, Snoopy is in the building for photos, and the pack includes a light-up Snoopy bobblehead. Space Jam Night, presented by Ticketmaster, follows on Saturday, Dec. 26, against Phoenix on NBA TV. Bugs Bunny makes an appearance, and the pack includes a Mavs x Space Jam Tune Squad jersey.

Detroit visits for Anime Night on Friday, Jan. 29. Fans are encouraged to come in cosplay, and each pack includes an exclusive Mavs anime bomber jacket. Hello Kitty Night is Tuesday, Feb. 2, against Toronto, with a Hello Kitty meet-and-greet, themed activations around the concourse and a mystery Mavs x Hello Kitty plush keychain in every pack.

Star Wars Night on Friday, March 26, against New Orleans closes the new group. Fan costumers will be on hand, fans are encouraged to dress as their favorite character, and the pack includes a Mavs x Star Wars baseball jersey.

Tickets and the new Flex Plan

Single-game tickets for 2026-27 went on sale on Sept. 10, with a Chase cardholder presale at 10 a.m. CT before the general sale at noon CT. The Mavericks had already run an early single-game window in August, on the day the NBA released the schedule.

New this season is a Flex Plan: you pick three to nine games, build your own schedule and save on tickets and fees. Season tickets, group tickets, suites and premium seats are sold through the Mavericks’ ticket office at 214-747-MAVS.

Dusty May is in his first season as Mavericks coach after Dallas went 26-56 last season. All dates, opponents and tip times above have been checked against the Mavericks’ 2026-27 regular-season schedule (Central time). The theme nights match the team’s Sept. 9 announcement, which Dallas Sports Journal’s Grant Afseth and the SportsDay staff both reported. The ticket-pack labels and the bobble pack dates come from the Mavericks’ official single-game and game pages.
