Pelicans 2026-27 promo calendar: Dr. Doom and Snoopy bobbleheads, Hogwarts stein, 25th anniversary hat and Wednesday Night Hoops

NEW ORLEANS — Oct. 15, 2026 — The Pelicans have 15 giveaway nights at Smoothie King Center this season, and each one goes to the first 6,000 fans through the doors. The list includes a Dr. Doom bobblehead for Marvel Night, a Snoopy bobblehead for Peanuts Night, a Hogwarts x Pelicans stein for Harry Potter Night and a hat marking the franchise’s 25th anniversary on Opening Night.

The home schedule opens on Wednesday, Oct. 21, against the Indiana Pacers at 7 p.m. CT. Red Panda performs at halftime, and Smoothie King is the sponsor of the commemorative 25th anniversary hat. After that, New Orleans goes on the road to Utah on Oct. 23 and Denver on Oct. 24. The Pelicans are coming off a 101-97 preseason win in Dallas on Wednesday, when Jeremiah Fears scored 16 points on his birthday. Their last preseason game is at home against Washington on Friday, Oct. 16 (7 p.m. CT).

NBA Cup nights and the December run

Both Pelicans home games in NBA Cup group play are Pelicans Cup Nights, and Morris Bart is giving away a T-shirt at each one. Minnesota visits on Friday, Nov. 6, and Memphis on Friday, Nov. 13, both at 7 p.m. CT. The group stage then finishes on the road, at Oklahoma City on Nov. 20 and at the Clippers on Nov. 27.

December has four giveaways. 504 Night on Wednesday, Dec. 2, against the Lakers celebrates the Gulf South and comes with a light-up beanie from Hancock Whitney. Holiday Hooptacular against San Antonio on Sunday, Dec. 20 (6 p.m. CT) has a Pelicans nutcracker. Harry Potter Night is Wednesday, Dec. 23, against Oklahoma City, with the Hogwarts x Pelicans stein. Then the Lakers come back for the New Year’s Eve Bash on Thursday, Dec. 31, when Entergy gives out a Pelicans light-up fan chain.

Euro Fête, Marvel and Carnival

Euro Fête on Saturday, Jan. 2, against Miami (6 p.m. CT) is the send-off before the Pelicans travel to Europe. The first 6,000 fans get a light-up scarf from Sprite. The trip includes two games against the Spurs: the NBA Paris Game at Accor Arena on Thursday, Jan. 14 (1 p.m. CT, 8 p.m. in Paris), and the NBA Manchester Game at Co-op Live on Sunday, Jan. 17 (9:30 a.m. CT, 3:30 p.m. in Manchester). New Orleans is the home team for the Manchester game, and Prime Video has both.

Marvel Night with the Dr. Doom bobblehead comes before the trip, on Friday, Jan. 8, against Orlando. The annual Carnival Party is Friday, Jan. 22, against Dallas, and Smoothie King is giving out a light-up Pelicans plush hat. HBCU & Divine 9 Night against Houston on Friday, Feb. 12, comes with a Pelicans puff tote bag from Fiery Crab.

Snoopy, Hello Kitty and the finale

March has three giveaways. Peanuts Night against Toronto on Friday, March 12, has the Snoopy bobblehead. Hello Kitty Night against Houston on Friday, March 19, has a Pelicans belt bag in honor of Women’s History Month. Family Funday against Boston on Sunday, March 28 (6 p.m. CT) has a Pierre T. Pelican plush toy from Ochsner.

The regular season ends on Sunday, April 11, against Chicago at 5 p.m. CT. That game is Fan Fest, and Keesler Federal Credit Union is giving out a Pelicans garden gnome.

Wednesday Night Hoops

On Tuesday the Pelicans announced Wednesday Night Hoops, a weekly brand that covers all 17 of their Wednesday regular-season games, home and away. Each one gets the same game-day identity, plus its own content, promotions, community events, merchandise and partner activations. It starts with Opening Night against Indiana.

All 17 Wednesday games air on the Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network (GCSEN) across its 14-market footprint in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Eleven of them are also simulcast locally on WVUE FOX 8, with extra production such as mic’d-up segments and in-game interviews. Pelicans+, the team’s streaming service, carries every locally televised game.

The Wednesday Night Hoops five-game plan gives you a lower-level seat for the Dec. 2 game against the Lakers plus four other Wednesday home games you choose. It also lets you shoot a free throw on the court after the Lakers game. Every Wednesday home game also has premium seating options and nightly merchandise specials. “Our goal is to make Wednesday Night Hoops something for Pelicans fans to look forward to and want to be a part of each week,” team president Dennis Lauscha said.
